Slow Cooker Pesto chicken

2 pounds chicken thighs
1 cup pesto
2 cups cherry tomatoes cut in half
2 cups green beans
salt and pepper to taste
In a 6-quart slow cooker, add chicken and pesto. Mix well, and then cook on low for 2 hours.
With 1 hour remaining, skim fat. Then spread tomatoes and green beans over chicken. Season with salt and pepper if you like. Cook on high for 1 hour.
Serve as is or with rice or pasta.
